What are we going to do?

What are we going to do?

This year, Seattle Chinese Alliance Church will partner with Silver Lining Missions to send a short-term mission team to visit several youth centers, orphanages, and rehabilitation centers for children in Myanmar. The trip will take place from June 11 to June 19.

Objective of the Mission Trip:
To follow Jesus’ Great Commission in Matthew 28:18–20 — “Go and make disciples of all nations.”
We aim to intentionally invite the younger generation to embark on this life-changing journey to serve the underprivileged and share the message of the Gospel.

The trip will begin in Yangon, Myanmar, where the team will visit the Eden Rehabilitation Children’s Center and the Partnership Youth Care Center (PYCC). At the Eden Center, we will meet with the staff and fellowship with them. We will also spend time engaging with the youth at the PYCC. As part of our outreach program, we will visit local families to understand their struggles and pray for them.

On June 13, we will fly to Mandalay and then travel to Pyin Oo Lwin (POL) the same day. In POL, we will spend the remainder of the trip at the Family Village. During our time there, we will train the staff and host a variety of activities for both the staff and the children.

We invite brothers and sisters to support us in prayer and become our prayer partners. Please visit our website at http://stm.scacseattle.org for prayer notes. We will keep you updated with the latest developments and prayer requests from the team.
