到了嘉年華會開始的時候，孩子們興奮不已，一開放就迫不及待地衝了進來。整個活動比我原本想像的還要有趣得多。其中有一位孩子一再邀請我陪他一起玩，雖然我是來協助活動的幫忙的義工，但他們卻把我當成朋友一樣對待，彷彿我們早已認識很久，而不是才剛剛見面。那份單純、真誠的接納，讓我心裡感到格外溫暖。
When it’s time for the carnival. They are so excited and just rush in. It was more fun than I thought it would be. One of the kids invites me to play over and over even though I am a helper. They make me feel like their friend even though I just met them.

今天，我們聆聽了一位來自雲彩家園孩子的生命見證。聽完她的故事後，我對其他孩子有了全新的認識，也開始想到，他們當中許多人或許也曾經歷過類似的遭遇。
Today we listened to a testimony by one of the kids from the village, hearing her story really opened my eyes about the other kids, how they might also have gone through a similar situation.
在聽見證之前，尤其是在嘉年華會期間，孩子們臉上充滿喜樂，興奮地玩耍、歡笑。我從未想過，在這些燦爛的笑容背後，他們竟可能經歷過如此艱難的過去。
Before her testimony and during the carnival, the kids were so joyful and so excited that I would’ve never guessed that they might’ve suffered through that.
這讓我更加珍惜自己所擁有的一切，也讓我深深體會到雲彩事工所帶來的改變。正因著這個事工，孩子們不僅生活得到了幫助，更有機會認識基督，透過在那裡服事的同工們經歷祂的愛。他們因此擁有了新的盼望，也對未來充滿希望。這一切都讓我心中充滿感恩。 That made me feel really grateful about where I was and brought attention to me that the kids lives were changed because of the silver lining program, that they were able to know Christ and his love through the people working there and have a hopeful future because of the program.

今天早上的靈修提出了一個問題：「我們是否應該期待自己能改變這些孩子？」在與 Candy 阿姨一起討論後，我們一致認為，真正使人改變的是神，而我們只是忠心地擺上自己的服事。因此，我們不需要把改變孩子的期待放在自己身上，而是相信神會按著祂的時間和方式動工。
This morning the devotion had a question about should we have expectations on changing the children. After discussing with Aunt Candy at devotional we said God is the one working and we just provide our service so we don’t need to have expectations.
今天，我們也為家園的孩子們舉辦了一場嘉年華會。我所負責的是「疊杯」遊戲。雖然因為語言的障礙，我在與孩子們溝通時遇到一些困難，但每當看到他們因為創下更快的成績而歡呼、慶祝時，我也跟著感到無比興奮和喜樂。
We hosted a carnival for the kids at the village and my group worked on a cup stacking game. Although there was a language barrier where I struggled to communicate, it was very exciting to see the kids joy every time they celebrated a fast time.
這次的經歷讓我深受鼓勵，也更加期待接下來幾天與孩子們相處和服事的時光。This experience made me encouraged and I look forward to these next few days.

今天是嘉年華會的日子，孩子們都非常興奮，歡呼聲此起彼落。當活動一開始，他們便滿懷期待地衝向各個遊戲攤位和活動教室，臉上洋溢著雀躍的笑容。一整天下來，他們不停地玩耍、歡笑、吶喊，享受著每一個精彩的時刻。
Today was carnival; the kids were loud and excited. When they were released they flooded into the rooms and stands with tons of excitement. Throughout the day they played, laughed, and shouted.
看到他們所流露出的喜樂，真的讓我十分感動。到了活動快結束時，我不禁問自己：「為什麼他們擁有的比我少得多，卻似乎比我在家鄉時擁有更多的喜樂呢？」
The joy I saw from them was amazing, and towards the end of the day I thought to myself “how can one with so much less compared to me still seem to have much more joy than I do back at home?”
當我聽到他們曾經歷過那麼多艱難與困苦，卻依然能夠找到幸福和快樂時，我的心中充滿感動，也不由自主地露出了微笑。
Hearing about them going through so much yet still find so much happiness and joy really made me smile.
