愛中的呼召
Called by Love

這也是有關雲彩南寧腦癱康復中心的最後一期通訊。And this is the last Newsletter related to Silver Lining Ministry’s Cerebral Palsy Rehabilitation Center in Nanning.

首先，讓我先介紹一下自己。我是一名剛畢業、即將踏入職場的年輕人，對人生這個全新的階段充滿期待。然而，在這份興奮的背後，我一直掙扎於尋求神對我人生和職業的旨意。我知道，神早已將一份強烈的感動放在我心裡，讓我渴望服事祂，特別是服事青少年和有需要的人。但我卻選擇逃避、選擇忽略，因為我深知，跟隨這條道路將伴隨許多艱難。Let me start by introducing myself. I am a fresh graduate entering the workforce, excited for this new chapter of life. Yet, amidst all the excitement, I have struggled to discern God’s will for my life and career. I knew God had placed a strong passion in my heart to serve, especially youth and those in need. But I chose to ignore it and run, because I knew the hardships that come with following that path.

若選擇投身醫療相關的工作，就意味著需要投入多年進修與培訓，在真正達到目標之前，還有一段漫長的旅程。而這正是我帶著來參加這次旅程的掙扎。Choosing healthcare means committing to years of further education, making it an extremely long journey before I reach the destination. This was the struggle I carried with me on this trip. 

這次，我探訪了雲彩（Silver Lining）位於南寧的腦癱康復中心。中心裡大部分孩子患有腦性麻痺，也有一些患有唐氏綜合症或其他不同程度的身心障礙。由於我曾探訪過緬甸的伊甸園（Eden Centre），原本以為這裡會與那裡相似。然而，雲彩帶給我的，卻遠遠超乎我的預期。孩子們充滿生命力，在院內跑來跑去、開懷大笑，主動向我們打招呼，甚至跑過來擁抱我們。他們所流露出的，是發自內心真正的喜樂。
I visited Silver Lining in Nanning, a rehabilitation center for disabled children. Most of them have cerebral palsy, while others have Down syndrome or different disabilities. Having previously visited the Eden Centre in Myanmar, I had similar expectations for this center, but Silver Lining exceeded them all. The children were full of life, running around, laughing, and coming up to say hello or hug us. They were genuinely happy.

雖然短短一天內我們參與了許多不同的活動，但其中幾個特別深深觸動了我。
We did many activities in just one day, but a few stood out.

首先，我們與孩子們及他們的母親一起做復健運動。我負責協助一位無法完全理解指令的小女孩完成動作，那是一件相當不容易的事。就在陪伴她的過程中，我突然意識到，作為她的母親，生活一定比我所能想像的更加艱辛。這些媽媽們不只是每天在中心陪伴孩子做復健，回到家後，她們仍然日復一日地持續幫助孩子練習。
First, we did exercises alongside the children and their mothers. It was a difficult task, guiding a child who couldn’t fully comprehend what she was supposed to do. While participating, I realized how incredibly hard it must be to be this child’s mother. The moms don’t just help their children with these exercises at the center; they do it at home every single day.

然而，當我越過這些艱難去看時，我所看見的，卻是一個充滿愛與力量的群體。神不僅藉著雲彩祝福了這些家庭，更藉著彼此成為他們的祝福。
Yet, looking past that hardship, I saw a community filled with love and strength. God had blessed these families not just with Silver Lining, but with each other.

活動室裡的每一位媽媽，都願意主動幫助不是自己孩子的小朋友。她們無條件地關心每一個人，從不計較自己是否因此多承擔一份責任，只要看見其他媽媽或孩子有需要，就毫不猶豫地伸出援手。
The moms in the room were ready to jump in and help children who were not their own. They cared for everyone unconditionally, never worrying about bearing an extra burden, but gladly stepping in whenever another mother and child needed a hand.

我心裡不禁想：「這真是一個何等美好的環境！這不正是神所盼望祂兒女所建立的群體嗎？一個充滿祂愛的群體，以致這份愛自然地流露出來，彼此服事、彼此扶持。」
I thought to myself, “What an incredible environment! Surely this is what God wants to see in all His children, a community so filled with His love that it overflows into serving one another.

這不正是「愛鄰舍如同自己」最真實的寫照嗎？
Is this not exactly what it means to love your neighbor?

這些媽媽原本彼此素不相識，卻因著共同的經歷走在一起，彼此照顧、彼此扶持，甘心服事對方的需要。更令我感動的是，她們竟然如此喜樂！即使每天都承受著極大的重擔，她們依然樂意去愛另一個家庭、服事另一位母親。這樣的群體生活，是我在美國家鄉極少看見的，也是第一次讓我那原本剛硬的心開始慢慢被神軟化。
These mothers were strangers at first, yet they came together to watch out for each other and serve each other’s needs. More than that, they were so joyful! Despite their immense hardships, they were happy to love and serve another family. It is a level of community I rarely see back home in America, and it was the first moment that made my hardened heart begin to soften.

接著，我們進行了一個手工藝製作活動。我陪伴坐在前排的兩位男孩一起完成貼紙作品。其中一位男孩比其他孩子更早完成了自己的作品。我原本不知道他接下來會做什麼，但我萬萬沒有想到，他竟然立刻轉身，滿心歡喜地主動去幫助其他還未完成的小朋友。
Next was a DIY crafts activity. I helped two boys sitting at the front with a sticker craft. When one of them finished ahead of his peers, I didn’t know what to expect—but I certainly didn’t expect him to turn around and happily start helping the others.

在那一刻，我所看見的，是一顆單純願意服事的心，是一份真誠希望別人也能感受到愛與快樂的心。這一幕深深鼓勵了我。
All I saw in that activity was a pure willingness to serve and to ensure that others felt loved and happy. It encouraged me deeply.

當時的我，一直被對未來困難的恐懼所捆綁；然而，這些孩子卻在自己的困難當中，依然喜樂地去服事別人。
While I was paralyzed by the fear of future hardships, these children were happily serving others in the midst of their own hardships.

一天結束時，有人問我：「神今天向你說了什麼？」
At the end of the day, I was asked how God had spoken to me.

這個問題讓我開始反思，為什麼神要我親眼見證這個群體所流露出的愛。
It got me reflecting on why He wanted me to witness the love of this specific community.

我終於明白，神是在呼召我，把那些我一直害怕面對的艱難交託給祂，並忠心地服事祂。祂再次提醒我，祂已經將何等豐盛的愛傾倒在我生命裡；而祂也盼望我，把這份愛帶給我所遇見的每一個人。
I realized God was calling me to trust Him with the hardships I so feared, and to serve Him faithfully. He reminded me of just how much love He has poured into me, and how He wishes for me to bring that same love to everyone I meet.
