Yesterday, we had the joy of taking the youths from Family Village to the park. I’ve never seen so many kids packed into a truck before! Because of the limited space, we had to make multiple trips to transport everyone.

On the second trip, I rode with the girls. They played music and sang along the whole way. Even the simplest songs brought so much joy—it was beautiful to see them all singing together in unison. Rather than complaining about the cramped space or bumpy ride, they simply enjoyed being together. Their joyful spirit brought a smile to my face and warmed my heart.

Earlier, Winston asked one of the girls if they would prefer to go somewhere else since they had already visited the park in 2023. Her reply was, “I’d be happy going anywhere.” That response really touched me. These youths truly appreciate whatever they’re given, no matter how big or small. They always receive it with gratitude and a smile, finding joy in the simplest things.

At the park, we played a variety of games—Human Wave, Untangle, and Red-Light Green-Light. Laughter and happiness filled the air, even as some of us grew tired. Just before lunch, it began to rain, but we thank God that we were able to finish all our games and activities beforehand!

Afterward, we returned to Family Village for dinner. We split into two groups to eat with two different families. I was told that the mothers spent over three hours preparing our meal, which made me even more grateful for their hospitality and the warm welcome we received. During dinner, we had a chance to learn more about the family members and were even invited to see their bedrooms. The children have comfortable, gender-separated rooms with spacious bunk beds. It was a joy to see how God has blessed these families and how happily they live together.
