Dear brothers and sisters,

Thank you so much for your faithful prayers for our Short-Term Mission (STM) team. By God’s grace, all 10 team members from three different churches safely met at the Bangkok airport without any issues. Though some of us were meeting for the first time, we quickly bonded and shared joyful fellowship filled with laughter.

We all flew together from Bangkok to Yangon, Myanmar, and arrived safely under God’s protection. Passing through immigration and customs went smoothly overall, even though a few of our bags were opened and inspected. We were warmly welcomed at the airport by several staff members from Silver Lining, who graciously arranged transportation and escorted us to our hotel.

After checking in and taking some time to rest, we enjoyed dinner with the Silver Lining staff at a nearby Chinese restaurant. By the end of the evening, most of us were quite tired, so we returned to the hotel for some well-earned rest.

Considering the many challenges we faced in the lead-up to this trip, today has gone remarkably smoothly. We are truly grateful to the Lord for His protection and guidance.

Tomorrow, we look forward to visiting the Eden Center, where we will have the opportunity to meet with parents of children with cerebral palsy. Please continue to keep us in your prayers.
